General Objectives

This program aims to achieve the following:
1. Introducing the student to the greatness of Quranic studies and their legislative content, which is comprehensive of all social facts and human events, which confirms its suitability for all times and places, and the generality of its message to all people in a way that achieves the rectitude of human life.
2. Preparing specialized scholars who combine in this specialization faith in God and scientific and professional competence, which shows the truth of the Quran and its impact on the progress of humanity and the advancement of civilization.
3. Introducing the student to what Islamic jurisprudence and its principles contain of different interpretations that agree with what the texts of Sharia have decided on in terms of expansion for people and not restricting them and removing hardship from them.
4. Providing him with the evidence of practical Sharia rulings that the imams relied on.
5. Developing his awareness that Islamic jurisprudence encompasses all aspects of life.
6. Deepening his belief in the sublimity of the Holy Quran and its response to the needs of humans.
8. Gaining the ability to understand the meanings of the Holy Quran, preserve it and reveal it.
9. Deepening the role of language, to play its role in the modern renaissance, given that language is the cultural and civilizational vessel of the nation.
10. Preparing scientific cadres in jurisprudential studies capable of teaching, research and preference.
11. Preparing scholars who have the ability to use contemporary teaching methods, and benefit from them with sound opinion.
12. Enabling the student to correct misconceptions by studying the sciences of the Holy Quran from their original sources.

Fourth: Graduate Specifications

The graduate specifications are that he should be:-
1. A memorizer of the Book of God Almighty and understand the verses of rulings.
2. An understanding of the hadiths of the correct rulings.
3. A comprehend the efforts contained in Islamic jurisprudence.
4. Aware of the evidence relied upon by the imams of jurists from which they derived practical legal rulings.
5. To be able to conduct scientific research in the field of Islamic jurisprudential studies on correct scientific foundations.
6. Able to address contemporary jurisprudential issues and provide sound advice in light of Sharia evidence.
7. Proficient in the Arabic language and its rules, believing in its importance in strengthening the unity of the nation and preserving the national identity.
8. Knowledgeable of the primary sources in his specialty and able to employ them to serve him.
9. Able to use modern technology and benefit from it in facilitating access to information and verifying it in its original sources.
10. Proficient in a foreign language that enables him to communicate with its speakers to convey what he specializes in to non-Arabic speakers.
11. Moderate and balanced.

Fifth: Academic standards in building the learner’s personality:
Understanding first:

We mean by them the comprehensive knowledge and concepts that the student acquires from the program, and they are represented in his ability to comprehend the history of Islamic legislation in its various stages, with a grasp of the jurisprudence of the Qur’an and Sunnah and experience in one of the approved schools of thought, starting with and arriving at the correct Sharia ruling that is not restricted to a school of jurisprudence, after considering the general evidence with the tools of analogy and preference and deriving the Sharia ruling from its sources according to the mechanisms of the principles of jurisprudence and the spirit of the lofty objectives of legislation.
With awareness of the maturity of the aspects of legislation and its comprehension of the issues of the judiciary, fatwas and advanced Sharia policy and the extent of its preservation of human rights as an honored person by the Creator, Glory be to Him, and what is based on this of the loftiness of the legislation concerned with the internal affairs of the nation with the jurisprudence of personal status, wills and estates and their application to reality or its external affairs and its international relations with other nations from the Islamic point of view.
As well as understanding the characteristics of the Arabic language and what it possesses of means of development and progress, and that it is capable of interacting with the achievements of modern science and expressing them in a way that preserves the nation’s identity.

Mental abilities:

They are those that grow by acquiring this knowledge through scientific discussions and the accompanying reasoning and deduction, and what the student acquires of the ability to deduce legal rulings from their original sources and reconcile the appearance of conflicting texts and the possibility of research and investigation in the references of ancient jurisprudence and the various modern encyclopedias that serve it and comparing between the schools of jurisprudence in what is found of incidents and incidents, including the possibility of summarizing texts and identifying the main and secondary ideas and the quality of creating ideas and visions.

These are what the student acquires from the program and enable him to communicate well with community institutions and interact with them, and are represented in his ability to continuously review and the ability to generate ideas in light of convictions and possess self-learning skills and not waste time and invest his religious culture in establishing values ​​and ethics in the environment and serving the community.

We mean by this the values, attitudes and aspects of appreciation that guide the student’s emotions and behaviors and are represented in his ability to be proud of his religion and his awareness of the extent of the perfection and maturity of the legislative system in Islamic jurisprudence and its principles and general rules and its maturity such that it is suitable for all times and in return he creates within himself a space in dealing with others in order to establish the principles of peace and coexistence according to the noble Islamic values.
